Fernando Lit
New strategies and business models for a circular plastics transition

Fernando Lit is an early stage researcher for C-PlaNeT working on the ESR 5 project entitled ‘New strategies and business models for a circular plastics transition.’ His research is being conducted at the Innovation, Technology Entrepreneurship and Marketing (ITEM) group of the Department of Industrial Engineering & Innovation Sciences at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), in collaboration with Ghent University and Dow Chemical Company. The objective of his research is to design new business models for circular plastics to stimulate their market adoption. 

 

Fernando obtained his bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of the Philippines in 2013. After working for almost four years as a process engineer in a global EPC company, he was accepted as an Erasmus+ scholar under the International Master in Industrial Management (IMIM) program. He received his triple degree from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, Polytechnic University of Milan, and Heriot-Watt University in 2019. 

 

In his free time, Fernando likes playing mobile games, going for a walk, or doing sports. He spends a lot of time hanging out with his friends but occasionally can be seen alone at the park. He loves languages and can do basic conversations in English, Filipino, Spanish, and Japanese.
